Certificate Course in Basic Computer Training & Digital Skills

Designed for students who may never have touched a computer. Builds confidence from scratch keyboard, MS Office, Canva, internet safety, introductory HTML culminating in a personal Digital Portfolio project.

Module 1 · Introduction to Computers & Digital Literacy (3 Weeks)
  • What is a Computer, hardware/software, input/output devices
  • Windows OS, file management, keyboard & mouse skills
  • Practical: create/move folders, use keyboard shortcuts
  • Correct finger placement, home-row keys, posture
  • Target: Class VI–VIII → 20 WPM; Class IX–X → 30 WPM
  • Formatting, paragraph layout, insert menu, page layout, printing
  • Practical: leave application, invitation card, essay, basic resume, school notice

For students who may not have an English-speaking environment at home. Covers all four LSRW skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) through role play, pair conversation, vocabulary games, and a final Communication Portfolio.

Module 1 · Foundations of English (3 Sessions)
  • Greetings, self-introduction, classroom English, polite expressions, numbers, days, months
  • Activity: pair introductions, greeting games, vocabulary flash cards
  • Assignment: introduce yourself in 8-10 sentences
  • Daily conversations: at school, market, bus stop, hospital; asking directions; phone conversations

Internship Programme

Learning Beyond Classrooms, Creating Impact Beyond Communities

A one-month immersive programme designed for students, researchers, and young professionals to engage with community-based education while working alongside migrant children and families in Noida.

Orientation & Digital Learning

Review the Anandshala documentary, website, and research publications. Reflective writing assignments and understanding the social context of migrant communities.

Research & Reflection

Critical analysis of selected reports on migration, education, and disability inclusion. Builds research, analytical thinking, and academic writing skills.

Field Immersion

Observe classroom teaching, interact with children and mothers, experience activity-based pedagogy, participate in digital literacy sessions and cultural programmes.

Certification

Participants who successfully complete the internship and fulfil all programme requirements-including field participation, assignments, and reflective submissions-will receive an Internship Completion Certificate from Anandshala.
